Student Badges
Expectations:
All students will wear their Lanyard/ID badge appropriately on campus (including school grounds, bus and bus stops) at all times.
Lanyard colors are for designated grade levels and only Goodson lanyards may be worn.
- Red – 6th grade
- Gray – 7th grade
- Black – 8th grade
Student ID’s will be used for:
- Bus Service Lunch Accounts
- Library Book Checkout
Badges cannot be defaced, damaged or destroyed. If students arrive to campus with a damaged badge, a new badge purchase will be required and consequences will apply per the Student Code of Conduct.
Temporary Badges will be available for purchase for $1.00 per day if original badge is lost or damaged.
Replacement Badges cost is $3.00 per loss. Replacement Lanyards cost is $2.00 per loss.
Daily Procedures:
Students must have an ID badge on the appropriate lanyard at all times at Goodson. Students arriving to campus without an ID badge must go to the Gyms between 7:05am and 7:20am to purchase a temporary badge and/or a new badge/lanyard. Students purchasing a new badge will be issued, and not charged, a temporary badge for that day only. They will receive their new badge during their lunch, and they are responsible for wearing their new badge after it is received.
Temporary Badges:
- Must be seen at all times.
- Must be placed on the front of your shirt below the shoulder and above the elbows.
- May not be covered up by other clothing.
Students will be checked at the beginning of 1st period by their teacher and sent down to the Front Office if they do not have a badge/lanyard or have a damaged badge/lanyard.
ALL Students who do not take care of badge issues before 7:20am will receive a Saturday D-hall.
Students are expected to wear ID Badges while on campus. Failure to meet these expectations will be met with consequences including: Lunch Detention, After School Detention, Saturday D-hall, DMC, or possible Suspension.
